Journalist Sanan Bahramli was beaten and his equipment damaged by a man who presented himself as a security guard; police removed the attacker from the scene.

APA TV reporter Sanan Bahramli was attacked overnight from 31 October to 1 November while covering a major fire at a timber market in Baku's Nizami district.
The journalist had been sent to the scene to cover the fire. While he was carrying out his professional duties, he was attacked by a man who presented himself as a security guard.
The man, who at first refused to disclose his identity, physically injured Sanan Bahramli, insulted him with heavy profanity and damaged technical equipment belonging to the company.
The attacker was identified as Heydar Sardarov. Following the intervention of police officers present at the scene, H. Sardarov was removed from the area.
This is the second case of physical violence against journalists in Azerbaijan in recent days: a few days earlier, employees of Real TV and Space TV were also subjected to physical violence in front of a school.
