Air strike on central Kramatorsk: city executive committee building destroyed
The Ukrainian side said Russia carried out an air strike on the centre of Kramatorsk, destroying the city executive committee building.

A strike on the centre of Kramatorsk in Ukraine's Donetsk region on the evening of 31 October destroyed the city executive committee building. This was reported by Oleksandr Honcharenko, head of the Kramatorsk city military administration.
Honcharenko said: “An hour ago, Russia destroyed the central building of Ukrainian statehood in Kramatorsk with an air strike.” A photo released shows the facade of the multi-storey building heavily damaged, its windows blown out and the surrounding area covered in debris.
According to the Ukrainian side, 6 people were injured during the day in the shelling of Kramatorsk and Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. Russian forces were reported to have struck the residential sector and a road on which a car was travelling.
The Ukrainian side also said that 17 people, including three children, were wounded during the day in Russian strikes in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Multi-storey buildings were damaged in Pavlohrad, an enterprise in the Ternivka community and private houses in the Nikopol district. In Zolochiv in the Kharkiv region, a 16-year-old girl was injured when a Russian drone struck a car.
Kramatorsk is one of the largest cities in the Donetsk region still under Ukrainian control and has repeatedly been hit by air strikes during the war. On 24 October, the Ukrainian side said Russian air strikes on Kramatorsk had killed one person and injured six, including three children.
Earlier, on the morning of 31 October, the Ukrainian side said Russia had again attacked energy facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, leaving parts of Dnipro and Kamianske without power.
