Saudi strikes on Bani Hushaish: death toll rises to 25, with 30 wounded
Yemen's Health Ministry said 25 people were killed and 30 wounded in Saudi air strikes on homes in the village of Al-Sharia in Sanaa's Bani Hushaish district. The toll is not final.

Yemen's Health Ministry said on Saturday that 25 people were killed and 30 wounded in Saudi air strikes on citizens' homes in the village of Al-Sharia in the Bani Hushaish district, east of the capital Sanaa.
According to the ministry, the figures are not final. The Health Ministry described the strikes as a crime committed by Saudi Arabia against citizens' homes.
On Saturday morning the Yemeni side had initially announced that 10 people were killed in the air strikes, that 5 houses were destroyed and that the recovery of the dead from under the rubble was continuing. In the afternoon the death toll rose to 25.
Ansarullah's Political Bureau said in a statement that the crime committed in the village of Al-Sharia in Bani Hushaish district adds to the record of crimes committed by the Saudi regime against the Yemeni people.
The head of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, also issued a statement, saying: "We pledge to all the martyrs of our people that we will punish the killers for their crimes."
The strikes came amid a military confrontation between Saudi Arabia and Yemen that has escalated in recent days. On November 6, a strike on a public market in the city of Taiz was reported to have killed 30 civilians and wounded 8. The spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Yahya Saree, had said that Saudi aircraft carried out 67 air and missile strikes on Yemen in the previous 24 hours.
On Saturday the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted the Saudi city of Najran with missiles, and explosions were heard in Najran and in the south of the country after the attack. Bani Hushaish is a district east of Sanaa that belongs to the capital's governorate.
