Yahya Saree: Saudi aviation carried out 67 air and missile strikes on Yemen in 24 hours
The Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman said the strikes targeted civilian sites in five provinces and that the total since the escalation began has reached 4,264.

Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said on November 6 that Saudi military aviation had carried out 67 air and missile strikes on Yemen over the past 24 hours.
Saree stated that the strikes targeted civilian sites in the provinces of Taiz, Lahj, Saada, Al-Jawf and Marib. According to him, the strikes were carried out by F-15 and Typhoon aircraft that took off from the Khamis Mushait and Taif bases. Saree also said that the total number of Saudi air and missile strikes since the start of the escalation against Yemen has reached 4,264.
Yemen's Supreme Political Council said it strongly condemns the massacre committed by Saudi military aviation at Al-Hadara market in the Al-Wazi'iyah district of Taiz province. The Council's statement said the strike on the Al-Wazi'iyah market left dozens of martyrs and wounded, that women and children were among the martyrs and wounded, and that shops and property suffered extensive damage.
In its statement, the Supreme Political Council stressed that Yemen will exercise its legitimate right to defend its people and its sovereignty. The Council held Saudi Arabia responsible for this escalation.
Yemen's Ministry of Health said earlier that 30 civilians were martyred and 8 people were wounded when Saudi aircraft targeted a public market in the Al-Wazi'iyah district in western Taiz province.
On the same day, Yemeni government forces said they had forced Houthi groups to retreat in Taiz province and that fighting was continuing on the Al-Shaqab and Al-Aqrud fronts.
In September, the Yemeni Armed Forces had also announced that Saudi Arabia carried out 300 airstrikes on nine Yemeni provinces within one week. In recent weeks, the Yemeni Armed Forces have also announced missile and drone attacks on targets inside Saudi Arabia.
