Saudi strike on Taiz market: 30 civilians killed, 8 wounded
The Health Ministry in Sanaa said 30 civilians were killed and 8 wounded in an air strike on a crowded popular market in Al-Wazi'iyah district. The figures are preliminary.

The Health Ministry in Sanaa said on November 6 that 30 civilians were killed and 8 wounded when Saudi aircraft targeted a popular market in Al-Wazi'iyah district, west of Taiz province in south-western Yemen.
The ministry noted that the figures are not final and are preliminary.
The strike hit a crowded popular market. The Yemeni side called the attack a "horrific massacre". On the same day, a Saudi air strike also targeted Hays district in western Yemen.
On the same day, the Yemeni Armed Forces said they had attacked Saudi coalition positions in the city of Najran with several ballistic missiles. A coalition spokesman claimed two missiles were intercepted in the area. Explosions were then reported in Najran and in southern Saudi Arabia.
Markets in Taiz province have been hit by air strikes before: on September 27, 2026, the Health Ministry in Sanaa said at least 7 people were killed and 40 injured in Saudi air strikes that targeted a market in Taiz.
