Saudi air strikes on Bani Hushaish district east of Sanaa: 10 people martyred
According to the Yemeni side, Saudi aircraft strikes destroyed 5 houses in Bani Hushaish district, and 10 people were martyred according to a preliminary, non-final toll.
Saudi aircraft on November 7 targeted several houses in Bani Hushaish district, located east of the Yemeni capital Sanaa. The Yemeni side said there were martyrs and wounded as a result of the strikes.
According to non-final figures released by the Yemeni side, 10 people were martyred in the massacre committed by the Saudi aggression in Bani Hushaish district. It is reported that the air strikes by Saudi aircraft destroyed 5 houses and that the recovery of the martyrs from under the rubble is continuing.
No official information has yet been released on the number of wounded or the identities of those killed.
Bani Hushaish is one of the districts of Sanaa governorate located east of the capital.
The strikes come at a time of sharply escalating tension between Saudi Arabia and Yemen in recent days. On November 6, a strike by Saudi aircraft on a public market in the city of Taiz left 30 civilians martyred and 8 wounded. On the same day, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Yahya Saree said Saudi aviation had carried out 67 air and missile strikes on Yemen in the previous 24 hours. On the morning of November 7, Saudi fighter jets were reported to have carried out five air strikes on civilian facilities in the Maran area of Saada province.
