Explosions hit several Ukrainian cities overnight into 3 November; a 71-year-old woman was injured in Zaporizhzhia.

Russian forces carried out strikes on several Ukrainian cities overnight into 3 November. Explosions occurred in Kharkiv, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, and one of the strikes in Kharkiv hit a medical facility.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said the city came under a combined attack with ballistic missiles and guided aerial bombs. According to him, one of the strikes hit a medical facility in the city's Nemyshlianskyi district.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Hanzha, said Russian forces struck critical infrastructure facilities in the city of Dnipro and in the Kryvyi Rih district. According to him, information on the injured is being clarified. Repeated explosions were heard in Dnipro during the night.
Semikin, acting head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, said a 71-year-old woman was injured and one private house was partially destroyed as a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia. Earlier, he said a private residential house in the city had caught fire as a result of a strike.
Explosions were also heard overnight in Khmelnytskyi, Rivne and the Vinnytsia region. The head of the Khmelnytskyi regional military administration, Tiurin, said a passenger car and the windows of an apartment building were damaged in the Shepetivka district, and that no information about dead or injured had been received.
The attacks came a few hours after US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff announced that trilateral talks between Russia, the United States and Ukraine would be held in Abu Dhabi on 10–11 November. On 2 November, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the death toll from a strike on the settlement of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region had risen to 26.
Kharkiv is Ukraine's second-largest city and lies close to the Russian border. Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia are large industrial centres in the country's south-east.
