Israeli fire kills 9 in the Gaza Strip since dawn
Israeli drones struck the Mawasi area of Khan Younis and the Rimal neighbourhood of Gaza City; a child is among those killed.

Since dawn on 1 November, 9 people have been killed by fire from the Israeli occupation forces in various areas of the Gaza Strip, hospital sources in the Strip said.
Nasser Medical Complex said 5 people were killed and several others wounded in an Israeli drone strike on the Mawasi area of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip. The strike hit an area in Mawasi known as the “Mango land”.
Al-Shifa Medical Complex said 3 people, including a child, were killed and others wounded when an Israeli drone targeted civilians in the Rimal neighbourhood in the west of Gaza City.
The Gaza Interior Ministry said the occupation forces targeted police officers while they were performing their duties in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis, leaving people killed and wounded.
The Emergency Committee in Gaza said the catastrophe is worsening and time is running out. The committee called on the world to exert pressure for the crossings to be opened and for fuel and shelter materials to be allowed into the Strip.
Mawasi is an area west of Khan Younis on the Mediterranean coast which, during the war, became a place where large numbers of displaced Palestinians live in tents. Rimal is a neighbourhood in the western part of Gaza City.
