IRGC spokesperson: Necessary preparations will be made if the leadership decides to revise the nuclear doctrine
The spokesperson of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the material and non-material assets of hostile countries are within Iran's reach.

The spokesperson of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared on 7 November that if the country's leadership decides to revise its nuclear doctrine, the necessary preparations will be made.
The spokesperson also said: “The assets of hostile countries are not confined to their geographical borders. Their material and non-material assets are within our reach.”
In the same remarks, the IRGC spokesperson announced that the restriction on the range of Iran's missiles had been lifted. According to him, the country can demonstrate the maximum range of its missiles if necessary, and the enemy will not be able to prevent Iran from producing and modernising weapons.
The spokesperson also clarified the explosion sounds heard the previous night. He said most of those sounds were related to air defence systems launching missiles and that “nothing special happened”.
Iranian officials have for many years declared that the country does not seek nuclear weapons. In May 2024, Kamal Kharrazi, an adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader, said that Iran could change its nuclear doctrine if its existence were threatened.
