Overnight attack on Odesa: 4 injured, Russia says “Neptune” launchers were hit
The head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, said four people were injured in a Russian overnight attack on Odesa. Russia's Defence Ministry said a site where “Neptune” launchers were stored in the Odesa region had been hit.

Russia attacked the Ukrainian city of Odesa overnight on November 2. The head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, said four people were injured in the attack.
According to Lysak, infrastructure facilities came under attack. The strike damaged two residential houses and a garage, and the blast wave shattered windows in neighbouring homes. Footage from the scene shows rescuers working next to destroyed structures.
Russia's Defence Ministry, for its part, said a site where launchers of “Neptune” systems were sheltered and stored in the Odesa region had been hit. According to the ministry, a dry cargo ship carrying cargo intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine was also hit at sea 58 kilometres south of Odesa.
Russia's Defence Ministry also said 212 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed over Russian regions overnight.
“Neptune” is a Ukrainian-made anti-ship cruise missile system. On November 1, Russia's Defence Ministry had also said a dry cargo ship carrying cargo for the Ukrainian army was hit by a drone about 16 kilometres south-east of Odesa.
