Arab coalition: Ballistic missile fired at southern Saudi Arabia and drone toward Riyadh destroyed
The Arab coalition said it intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile fired by Ansarullah toward Saudi Arabia's southern region and a drone launched toward the Riyadh region.

The Saudi-led Arab coalition said on October 30 that it had intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile fired by Ansarullah toward Saudi Arabia's southern region.
In a separate statement, the coalition said a drone launched toward the Riyadh region had also been intercepted and destroyed. The statements contained no information on casualties or damage.
Earlier, Saudi Civil Defence issued an early warning of danger in the Khamis Mushait governorate in the country's southwest.
Ansarullah attacks on Saudi Arabia have continued in recent weeks. On October 25, the coalition said it had intercepted a ballistic missile aimed at Riyadh, a drone in the Riyadh region and a cruise missile aimed at Khamis Mushait, and later that it had destroyed 10 ballistic missiles fired toward the southern region. According to Saudi Civil Defence, debris from missiles destroyed over Khamis Mushait and Ahad Rafidah injured two people that day.
On October 10, an attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh killed 13 people and wounded more than 300, and operations at the airport were halted. Ansarullah military spokesman Yahya Saree called the airport unsafe and a military target.
Fighting is also continuing on several fronts inside Yemen. In September, Ansarullah seized strategic territory along the Red Sea coast, after which fighting around Taiz intensified. Today, the Yemeni Armed Forces were reported to be advancing on the al-Muqatirah front, with heavy clashes in several areas.
