Sanaa: Saudi Arabia has carried out more than 3,830 air and missile strikes on Yemen since 13 July, with 768 killed and wounded
The Foreign Ministry of Yemen's Sanaa government has sent memoranda to the UN, the European Union and the African Union on Saudi Arabia's continuing aggression.

The Foreign Ministry of Yemen's Sanaa government on 2 November sent memoranda to the United Nations, the European Union and the African Union regarding Saudi Arabia's continuing aggression against Yemen.
The memoranda set out the total number of Saudi strikes on Yemen since the escalation began on 13 July. According to the ministry, the number of Saudi air raids and missile attacks on the country during this period has exceeded 3,830.
The ministry also said that since the start of the latest escalation the total number of victims of the Saudi aggression has reached 768 martyrs and wounded, most of them women and children.
According to the Yemeni side, on the same day two Saudi air strikes hit Al-Shamayatayn district in the south of Taiz province, while two civilians were wounded by Saudi forces' fire in the border district of Shida in western Saada province.
The Sanaa government has linked the start of the latest escalation to a Saudi strike on 13 July on the runway of Sanaa International Airport. According to Sanaa at the time, the strike was carried out to prevent the landing of an aircraft bringing a Yemeni delegation from Tehran; Sanaa described it as a "declaration of war" and in response targeted Abha airport. Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulwahid Abu Ras then sent a letter to the UN Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council.
Attacks between the two sides have continued in recent days. On 1 November, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Yahya Saree said Saudi aviation had carried out 75 air and missile strikes on Yemen within 24 hours. On 2 November, explosions occurred in the southern Saudi cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, Taif and Najran, and the Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they had attacked positions in these cities with missiles and drones. The Saudi-led coalition began military operations in Yemen in March 2015.
