Russia again attacked energy facilities in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region overnight into October 31. Ukrainian energy company DTEK said power equipment was seriously damaged as a result of the new attacks.
According to the company, the damaged sites include two facilities of DTEK Dnipro Electric Networks. One of them is the facility where power engineers had worked on repairs for almost two days.
A significant part of the cities of Dnipro and Kamianske, as well as residents of the Dniprovskyi and Samarivskyi districts, remain without electricity.
On the same night, the Russian Defence Ministry announced that the Russian Armed Forces had struck logistics and energy infrastructure facilities used in the interests of Ukraine's military-industrial complex. The ministry said Kyiv's Combined Heat and Power Plant No. 6, an industrial zone in Kharkiv and a cargo ship near Odesa had been hit.
Earlier, on the evening of October 30, the railway station in the city of Dnipro was struck again in successive attacks, one of which hit a passenger train. Kamianske is an industrial city located west of Dnipro on the banks of the Dnipro River.
