Trams and trolleybuses halted in Kyiv due to critical situation in the power grid
From the evening of 3 November, electric transport in Kyiv is being temporarily suspended due to a critical situation in the power grid caused by Russian strikes; the metro is operating normally.

Tram and trolleybus services in Kyiv are being temporarily suspended from the evening of 3 November. The reason is a critical situation in the power grid caused by Russian strikes.
The Kyiv City State Administration published a list of replacement buses. However, it was stated that these buses will not be able to fully replace electric transport.
The metro is currently operating normally. Tram and trolleybus services will resume once the situation in the power grid stabilises.
On the morning of 3 November, the Russian Defence Ministry announced that strikes had been carried out overnight on energy facilities in Ukraine's Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.
Surface electric transport in Kyiv has been halted earlier this year as well due to power shortages: trams and trolleybuses suspended in January did not run for more than a month, and in mid-October electric transport stopped in three districts of the city.
